Following its success in Italy, RubyPlay extends PokerStars cooperation into Romania and Spain.

The iGaming studio RubyPlay, situated in Malta, has extended its collaboration with Flutter Entertainment's PokerStars brand.

The portfolio of RubyPlay's games will be introduced in the regulated markets of Romania and Spain as part of the expansion. 

This development follows RubyPlay's games' successful launch in Italy, where player retention and engagement exceeded expectations.

As part of the expanded partnership, RubyPlay will develop four games for PokerStars. Yo Ho Ho, the first game, showed good performance from Italian players.

Olga Sirokha has joined RubyPlay as Director of Partnerships, bolstering the company's endeavours to forge new deals with operators in strategically important regulated areas while also deepening its ties with current partners. Sirokha has worked in the gaming industry for more than 20 years, specialising in land-based casinos in Latin America.

The cooperation between RubyPlay and PokerStars comes after notable alliances such as those with NetBet Italy and Reevo. The aforementioned collaborations facilitated the incorporation of more than 80 video slot games into diverse platforms, with the objective of augmenting RubyPlay's market share in Italy.

Simultaneously, Playson, a provider of digital entertainment, established a collaboration with PokerStars to offer games through Relax Gaming in many countries.

As part of its growth strategy, Playson intends to acquire online casino operators across the globe, beginning in the UK and other PokerStars-licensed jurisdictions. It also intends to provide content in Ontario and Spain soon.
